QUESTION - How many football clubs in Coventry will be represented in the Olympic Torch Relay? ANSWER - At least one, ALVIS JUNIORS FC Director of Football, Simon Duffield-Harding will be carrying the torch for Alvis Juniors on day 45, 2nd July. It will be through the village of Dingley, near Market Harborough.

The Alvis Football Academy is OFF this Saturday, see above. THE ACADEMY WILL BE ON EVERY SATURDAY UNLESS WE NOTIFY YOU OTHERWISE. Training starts at 10:00am and runs until 11:30am, we welcome all boys and girls aged 5 - 8. Please make sure that your child has appropriate footwear depending upon the weather. They will also need to wear shin pads. We will provide a cold drink. The cost of the academy is £2.50 per session, please pay at the front of the clubhouse on arrival. Each child must be accompanied by an adult in order to be registered. Following payment, each child will receive a stamp on their hand which they will need to show to the coaches. There will be Alvis merchandise available to buy on the day. The tea room will be open, serving hot drinks. |
